There is a new Chief Financial Officer. The atmosphere was rather sober. There was a little bit of excitement but clearly everyone was having Monday blues.

It felt like forever waiting for his arrival. I bet he lost his way to the Starhub Logistic Center. Everyone has lost their way to the Starhub Logistic before. And it was his first day too. So it's entirely forgiven. LOL. Who cares about being late if You're a CFO. Right?

It's Karma

Almost late today. I think I ran about 600 meters from the bustop to the Logistic Center. You know, morning exercise is good to kick start your day. Thankfully, no Ugly red circle on my punch card.

And again today I caught myself watching MNC Indonesia Channel. (It's a Privilege when You work at Starhub) I was just curious what show was on the air this time. This time I think they air a good show. It's really an eyeopener to start with. It was actually a reality show. It's called "Minta Tolong" or in English, "Pleading for Help". The motive of this show was to find out how many people would help the less fortunate. There's was this Lady, she pretended to be a beggar asking the local restaurants & food hawkers to donate some food for her sicked child. If you don't know, in Indonesia, the rich go to the restaurants and the poor go to food hawkers. Those from the middle Group? There's no such thing as the middle group. In Indonesia, it's either You're Rich or Poor.

I realise that only the poor would help the poorer. The rich? Most don't have a shred of Empathy at all. It's kind of pathetic that out of 137 people who the lady had asked for help, only one was willing to donate some food for her sicked child. Of course, the person who had helped her wasn't rich. She too struggled to make ends meet.

So I think I learnt something. Even how much We struggle at Life, we should still help one another without second thoughts. It's Karma. If You help People, they too will help You one day. Can never know, maybe someday I become a Bankrupt and end up begging at Bugis, infront of Rochor Center NTUC Market, People would still help Me. Life is unpredictable. But hopefully, that won't happen to Me. Hahah.

I don't know why. After watching this particular show on MNC Indonesia Channel, I just thought that it was a stupid broadcast show. It's one of the show that really makes You think, " Why are they showing this on TV? "


At first I thought it was some food show. But when they started to tail and spy a group of people. It was no longer a food show of course. They followed this van to a remote area in Jakarta. So when the van finally stopped, there was an old rundown building. It was actually a brothel. One of the crew pretend to be a customer. It was revealed that they had girls from all over the states and that they promised those girls were free from any diseases. What was saddening that some of the girls were as young as 12!
A moment I thought it was a good infotainment show. But when they started to interview one of the Girls and take matters into their own hands. It kind turned a bit unexpected. The crew tailed the girl and revealed her identity. The outcome was nasty. When the mother knew about it. She disowned her daughter. There were tears flowing down. The mother couldn't believe what the crew had told her. There was little sympathy from the crew. And the most absurd thing is that it was shown on national television for everyone to see.


Well I believe Starhub is Promoting MNC Indonesia Channel now. I think it's a stupid broadcast channel. It is a good Infotainment channel, but when You intruded into one's personal space and crushed his or her pride and then make it into a show for everyone to see, it's no longer a good Infotainment channel. It's so not the coolest things ever.

Hey. I'm so proud of myself. Finally set my own Wireless Network. And I call my Network Iszwan's Network. LOL. Nice right?

I'm just truly amazed what a router can do. It's simply convenient that I can transfer all my files from one computer to another at the touch of a button. And there's so much more a router can do.

It just simply pathetic that I found myself lost in Suntec City today. Of course I wasn't alone. What happens when two bloody Idiots who have a pathetic sense of direction & zero fashion sense go shopping? It can't be that bad You know. I got myself a hoodie and a Freshbox T-shirt.
