Tommorow Is Hari Raya! / Everything done?

Hello World!

If my mechanical clock is right and not playing a trick on Me, We're just a few hours away to Hari Raya! YEA! YIPPE! 30 days of Ramadan have gone so fast yet, I still feel like yesterday morning was the first day of Ramadan.

Well, usually at this hour, my mom would be very busy preparing the dishes for tomorrow like she used to for the past years, but apparently She's not! For the first time, I'm proud to say that everything is prepared and done! Just waiting for that big day to come ; to welcome all the visitors to the house. The walls have been painted, the curtain already been fixed, Baju Kurung (hmm...??) I perhaps ironed already, Ketupat and Rendang already cooked. I guess every single thing is prepared.Hmm... Except for one tiny thing that really bugs Me! WHERE IS THE KUIH? There's no KUIH on the table yet! No drinks in the fridge! Only Potato Chips in the cabinet!

My mom thinks that I don't know that she's keeping all the KUIH&Cookies and Stock pile of Drinks in her room! This is the advantage of living in a small, old ,yet cosy and beautiful house! Shh... Don't tell my mom that I'm taking one set of chocolate cookie for myself! HEHE.

SOO GAUDY!

For your info, my parents are at my neighbour house (Helping out I guess) and my brother is MIA! (that's why I managed to sneak into my parents room!) Well, I should have gone to the Mosque but as You can see... I didn't. This is because of some idiots who supposed to meet Me just now didn't surface! Hahah.

For some reasons, I feel a bit empty deep inside. I still remember last year, the night before before Hari Raya, everyone was already at My Uncle's place. It was filled with so much love and happiness. And the next following morning, we celebrated again till the late night.
I guess this year, everyone is busy with their own life. Maybe that's why we shouldn't take things for granted!

I guess that's it for now! I need to wake up early for tomorrow's PRAYERS, which somehow I'm sooo looking forward to it.

4 Days To Hari Raya! / Not funny Bodo!

My Late-Grandmother once said

"Tuntutlah ilmu sampai ke negeri China"

Which literally means

"Broaden Your knowledge till you reach China"

Hmm? I guess that sounds rather awkward! Okay, in other words it means

"Continue to pursue lifelong learning"

I guess that sounds better! It's actually an old Arabic proverb which literally to encourages People to broaden their knowledge and perspective till they reach China (huh?) ,or in other words to encourage lifelong learning. But why China?
Well, this is because ... centuries ago, The Chinese Community was well-known for their extensive knowledge on Medicinal and at that point of time, maps hadn't existed yet and none of the Arabian knew where was China located! And because, Chinese Medicines were famous at that time, that they were sold through out the world till it reached the Arabian land. Due to that, the Arabian Community encourage it's people to emulate and broaden their knowledge till they reach China, even though they didn't know where was China! (sounds lame siah!) And up to this date, the proverb is widely used in many cultures! (101% confirmed!)

My late-grandmother is a very good example. She always had the enthusiasm and will to learn new things. Even, how difficult things were for her, she would always somehow, pull off. An advocator of lifelong learning, she had this never-say-die spirit in her. Which I always lacked of.

This week, I watched a Movie, which I found it very awe-inspiring and somehow related to today's topic : Lifelong Learning!

Mad About English. It's a documentary about China's preparation towards the Olympic 2008 which was... Encouraging it's Population to learn and speak decent English! I found it rather awe-inspiring because it scoped into many individual lives, in their race against time to master English! They had less than a year and what's more inspiring is that even those who were at their late years still continued to pursue in learning English! I've been learning English for most of my life yet, I couldn't master it! KUDOS to THEM!

Sadly, I don't really understand why were the people in the Cinema laughing their Ass Out when they watched it! It's an Educational film! Not Comedy Bodo! I don't really find it funny! These People in the documentary, are actually puting their pride aside and brave through all the obstacles to achive One Common goal! They may not be able to understand or sound perfectly, but they surely shown enough Courage and Determination to persue what they've set for! For them, I salute!

Hmm... for some reasons, I feel very inspired and MORE motivated right now! I want to do POA! Watch out for Me Bodos!

Anw, I already finished another sets of Chocolate Flakes! But Wait! I didn't tamper with my mom's Hari Raya Cookies! I bought these Chocolate Flakes myself! Well, since I'm a sucker for Sweet Delights ,and I don't want my mom to start nagging at Me again, so I bought those Chocolate Flakes specially for myself. How thoughtful is that huh?
Well, You can't expect Me to make those right? At this point of time and with 7 days left to Hari Raya, I don't want to mess my Kitchen. I'm a messy CHEF! Hehe.

Well everything about Me is already in a mess now! You've to see the state of my room right now. Books are everywhere and all over the place! I've this problem of not putting my Books back to its original shelves. Gahh... I can't find my underpants! I better look for them now!

Hmm... about my prelim result? I guess I did okay. Well, I'm not that surprised when I saw my "wonderful" English result. FREAK! 16 points! Nelson go to hell lah! Hahah.

21st Day / My Papa Told Me...

HELLO WORLD! How are You people doing there?

Great! I just came back from IMM with my father. Apparently, there's a sale going on at NB Factory ,and my Father told me there's this NB Limited Edition Sneaker going at half the price! At first, for some reasons I didn't believe my Father and moreover, a NB Limited Edition Sneaker going at half the usual price, is too good too be true!

Well, somethings are indeed too good too be true! I did see it for myself. The Sneaker is Dirt Cheap! It's cheaper if You were to compare it to other Limited Edition Collections lah. Hmm...I wonder why is my father suddenly so good to Me?

PUTTING THAT ASIDE. 'O' Level Prelim is officially Over! I don't really feel good about all the subjects though ,sooo come Monday I think I'll know where I truly stand! Anyway, I've this eerie feeling that I won't see my name in the top 3 or rather top 10 of the NA cohort. This is because people around Me are getting smarter ,or maybe I've gotten stupider at this point of time! Hmm... which one is it? Hahah.

Okay, lets count how many days I have left before the so-called 'RED LETTER DAY' ?Hmm... 24 days to 'O'!

It's no secret that Everyone is actually gunning for that top spot! Well, Louis Dick has been bugging Me to list all the names and the positions of the people in the class. It's really a tough assessment. Everyone is suddenly working very hard and putting extra effort and time while I, doing the same shit almost everyday! Well, for a start Jazreel (the girl who beat Iszwan at N-level) has already gone Full-throttle! Not just that, people are actually having Group Study behind my back! I thought I was the only One. No wonder lah People are getting smarter while Iszwan is getting stupider! Hahah. Maybe I should be less Complacent from now on! WAIT. I mustn't be Complacent from now on!

I still remember the last time my Father really really really scolded Me, when I failed my Secondary 1 Mid-Year Examination miserably, till Miss Lee had to call my Father...

Hearing that from my Father, I was taken aback at how reckless I was ,and that I'd wasted too much time of my life; first was PSLE then later Secondary 1. My Father really expects a lot from Me. I guess after that I did wake up and stop being an Idiot ,and started to work really hard. Surprisingly,(not so surprisingly lah since I worked hard already!) I came in 2nd for Final Year. Know what? Jazreel was first! How fateful was that! I think I've this JAZREEL-ALWAYS-BEAT-ISZWAN syndrome! Now I'm on my final journey, and the competition suddenly gets tough! It's not just Jazreel or Nelson to be wary of from now on! IT'S THE WHOLE PEOPLE IN 511!

Isn't this good? Everyone is putting extra effort and time. But who's leading? All I know is that I AM NOT! tsk. tsk. tsk.

Hello World! What's Up?

Okay, one thing that I just realised lah, OMG today is 18th day of Ramadan! I wasn't actually aware that We're half way through Ramadan! I thought it was like 10th or 11th day. Ohh Great! Now We only left with 12 more days to go to HARI RAYA! Yea!

Do you think I'd still receive Money from my relatives? I doubt soo... ): Wait, I don't even think I've the mood to enjoy and celebrate lah. Well, for a start My mom is becoming the OLD-BITCHY-PERSON again! I thought She wouldn't nag at Me again, since it's Ramadan. But, I was wrong. She was angry with Me because I already finished two sets of Chocolate Flakes which were apparently, bought for HARI RAYA. See! Not even HARI RAYA, two sets of eight Chocolate Flakes finished in three days! I bet that by the first week of HARI RAYA, no more KUIH for visitors lah! Hahah.

Actual Fact, I wasn't the only ONE who ate the Chocolate Flakes. My FATHER too! Actually We split 20/70 percent. I took the 70 percent while my father consumed 20 percent. See! Like Father Like Son! But, it's totally unfair caused My father was spared the nagging! However, it's totally alright, since I ate the most :)

GREAT! TMR, is the last day of Prelim! I think I need to refresh my mind on Electromagnetic Induction concept. BYE!

14th Day... What Happened to English Premier League?

Yesterday was far the craziest week of the (new) 2008/2009 English Premier League Campaign.



Initially, I had plans of watching it with my father but (what do you know?) He dumped Me and watched it with his friends at some luxury Sports lounge! Which I doubt so. My dear mom? She went to some festivities in the Mosque. So yah, I was home-alone and feeling a bit dejected ):

ANW... LIVERPOOL ROCKS!

Well I didn't expect Liverpool to come out from a shocking (okay I shit in my pants when Tevez scored the first goal. Literally) one goal down to claim the victory! Got to admit, ManU was a tough cookie! But I think Xabi Alonso was instrumental in Liverpool's Victory against ManU. Okay, Screw Rafa Benitez for wanting to sell him for just a packet of Potatoes and Syrups to Arsenal! And Reira who? Never heard of that name but he certainly got balls! And my god, 31million pounds Bulgarian Targetman; he has the most expensive pair of legs on the field lah but somehow he wasn't up to mark against Liverpool. Maybe He had a bad sex ,the previous night. Hahah.

I realise one thing about English Premier League this year than of a decade ago. The game is really getting 'Dirty'! No,don't get Me wrong.I'm not talking about the aggressiveness of the game. Soccer is indeed an aggressive game ,yet the most beautiful and entertaining! What I'm referring is the latest trend in English Premier League. Yah! It's really 'Dirty' and Tainted!

Well a decade ago, English Premier League was one of the most competitive Soccer tournament in the world. Maybe some would remember the likes of Ian Wright, Robbie Fowler, Micheal Owen, Dwight Yorke and truckloads more.Everyone is such a maestro with the ball and with so much talent in them.Whenever teams competed with each other, there's soo many to look forward for. A team might from the start of the season, be right at the top of the table but come the end of the season that team may fall to second place. I still remember the 2001/2002 season. Liverpool was constantly at the top of the table but came May 2002 and with just four games to winning the League, (Arggh...) Liverpool succumbed the top spot and Arsenal won the League with four points difference. Soccer that time was very unpredictable ,yet very competitive and entertaining. Well, I don't know how many sleepless night I had. But it's indeed tough to swallow the fact.

Now, English Premier League is the BIGGEST league in the world , with millions of viewers all around the world tuning to it almost every weekends! But somehow, I feel that English Premier League now is losing something and lacking what that English Premier League a decade ago had. That competitive spirit! Everyone knows that English Premier League is the BIGGEST shit in this world. Even the Ah Pecks and Nyonyas at the market know about it!

You can see these Ah Pecks almost every weekend in the coffeeshop watching free-to-air English Games (sounds familiar?) but wait, they are not supporting their favourite teams, rather the teams that they have heavily bet on. Hmm... I wonder if I would be like them when I become an Ah Peck one frightening day?

Back to the topic. What makes English Premier League 'Dirty' and 'Tainted' is that most English clubs (70%) are owned by Foreign Rich Bastards who greed for Power, Dominance, Fame from what this League may offer. They are Bastards because they think they have all the money in this world ,and so they buy an English Football Club and sign all the greatest soccer players that they can get and (worst) they think that with their financial backing, they could win the League and form the BIGGEST team in the world. They employed many tricks just to get a hold of the Ownership of the football club even though the ex-owners were reluctant. These bastards spent so much on the Transfer Market that they disrupted the Competitiveness of English Premier League games and caused an inflation in everything that has to do with it. (You people don't see the bigger picture, don't You?) An example, when a club which is (just) bought by a Rich Bastard overnight, buys so many new players at an extravagant fee each, this will resulted in the increased in Expenses of the Club and in turn the ticket price will have to be increased and this would create a snowball effect and eventually hurt the supporters! WE! Don't You see people? Why is Starhub charging so much for Soccer channels? Well, this is because of the inflation caused by those bastards!

And to add to that misery, English Premier League is losing or (maybe) has already lost that Competitive spirit. A decade ago maybe, the team with good teamwork and workmanship would win the League but now, the most expensive team will win the league. Remember Chealsea? A mid-table performer football club suddenly became a Powerhouse in the English Premier League overnight after a Rich and Oily Russian bought the club. It's rather boring to watch them playing.Each time, it's like watching newly promoted Stoke City vs Billion dollar Chealsea Team... it's clear cut already, We know who'd win. It's like Me playing soccer with a bunch of Primary 6 students whom have yet to reach their puberty lah! Hahah.

It's sicked isn't it? There will be a non-stop of VICIOUSLY-BORING CYCLE. They will continue recruiting the best players at extravagant fee and then form an utmost formidable team and win the league, while those teams who couldn't afford such star players will just remain at the same level.

Russian Oily Empire

Just two weeks ago, Man City Football Club was bought by some oil Rich Middle-East Losers. And in just one day, they spent a FREAKING 50million pounds on players. Well, one of the signing caught the limelight - ROBINHO for a fee of 32million pounds! They even had the nerves to wanting to sign Fernando Torres for a fee of 50million pounds! But I can't help myself to laugh my ass out at them. The new owners even issued a statement that in 5 years time... Man City will be the Biggest Soccer Team in the world after ManU and Liverpool! Well, certainly it has sent some spine-chilling horror to most of the rival teams. But freak lah... 32million pound?
Let see what I can get with that kind of money...

My throat is really really killing Me! It's 1700hr now.Two hours left to break-Fast and I've been staring at the clock for the past minutes (I've totally forgotten, how long) ,and somehow,someway,somewhat it feels like the clock is moving slowly than usually or isn't moving at all!! Okay, I'm exaggerating...

I regretted playing soccer just now! I guess Stupid People do Stupid Stuff and I (sadly) fall into that category. Oh yah...btw I'm FASTING leh and I'm totally dehydrated now. Oh my dear Clock, can you move a bit faster. Have some compassion on Me. Okay, with that, I've gone from being dehydrated to Super Pathetic! See...I'm talking to the clock! Oh yah...I've been promoted from Pathetic to Super Pathetic! Hahah.

The first start of week has already gone Topsy-turvey! Hahah. Okay... I don't want to talk about Monday. It's embarrassing ): And Tuesday? Let me recall... Hmm... why don't We go to Today (Wednesday) instead. I had Science Practical ,and it's fine.I had some problems with Physic Pratical though ,but Chemistry Practical was a smooth call. Well, how about Thursday,Friday and Weekends? Hmm...I've a feeling that my run with Patheticalness will not be over too soon. Hahah. I've a premonition something bad gonna happen. I could still remember vividly the first day I saw Her...(Yes, it's a Girl)

She caught my eyes, attention and my heart too. (Yes,I've a heart!)She is the most sophisticated of her batch. She has this amazing looks and striking figure. That beautiful eyes and smile plastered on her face, would never fail to make One's days and nights. I figured I never had a chance with someone so beautiful, but began to talk to her anyway. I was speechless and (yah) my balls were constantly shaking. We talked a lot after our first conversation, still not holding hope of being with her. I am normally nervous around girls I like, but with her I never seemed to be. Maybe it's fate but to Me, fate is a joke! To have her love was almost surreal.Chapter one was how true love was made (:

I learnt a lot from her. I wanted to show her how special she was and decided that Weekends, We would spent together with each other. With her, I found my serene ,and I was away from any stress. Together, We experienced many adventures ,and ups and downs too.
P/S: Like every Korean Movies ): , there's always a sad ending. I never wanted it to end this way ,maybe it was my Ego. For now, I have to go. It's for the sake of both of us ,and the dreams that I have set for. It's very hard for me to say all these to her ,and I want to tell her that all the time I have spent with her,are the greatest of all. And I'll hold it dearly to myself. Maybe those memories will hunt Me oneday ...

Forth Day... Money Talks!

Hello World! It's forth day of Ramadan and I've started to become restless and Boooooooooored!

Well people, according to my clock it's 16oohr now! Okay I lied!...I rounded off to the nearest hour! hahah (not funny!).
In actual fact...I'm supposed to get moving to somewhere-far-away NOW, meeting my classmates to have DINNER and since it's the Ramadan,BREAK FAST TOGETHER LAH~ or in other words class outing lah!
However, as You people can see for yourself I'm typing this as at 1620hr (yes I rounded it to the nearest minute!)...that shows I just DITCHED my classmates! Wait, it sounded incorrect. I'M GONNA DITCHED MY CLASSMATES SOON...Hahah. That's sounded better! Well, I'm supposed to meet THEM at 1900hr at somewhere-far-away but now it's 1628 hr (I rounded it to the nearest 0.0 second!) Well, I've a feeling my phone gonna start ringing sooooon! So I guess I'll get hate mails, Death Threats, Love Letters (fat hope!) PEANUT on my face when school reopens and tons of cruelty from my classmates! Hahah. I just kidding lah! Why would my Beautiful classmates who are fun, loving, caring and so many BEAUTIFUL THINGS to say, would do such things to Me (except Love Letters). Right? You guys won't do such thing at Me.Right? Well, I believe my words aren't that convincing.So I'm gonna defend MYSELF! Well People...I managed to survive second day of Ramadan! Okay I sounded very pathetic.Well,if you managed to survive 14hrs without food or water,KUDOS to You too. Okay,Ramadan month means time to reflect about life and (yah) do some reality check!

Looking back...I guess I've done a lot of things that left me with guilty consciousness ,and (sadly) full of regrets. Yes,I admit sometimes my jokes are insensitive ,and my words are rather offensive and mean but believe Me, hurting people is the last thing in my mind. I believe that my DE facto of existence in this world is to bring joy and laughter to everyone. I'm not perfect in many ways, but I always try to be the best person that I can be to everyone and (yah) society too. Although I may not appear normal at times...believe Me, I'm trying my best to look like a Human and act like one too! (hahah...Okay LAME!) Moving on, today was certainly GREAT! It was raining MEEEEE!! Apparently, my Dad took the day off ,and when he's at home and not working it means that...GREAT FOOD is on the way! Okay, Shhh... don't tell! My Dad cooks a HEll of a lot better than my Mom!

And Dad didn't tell Mom earlier that he's not working and will be cooking...so there was an argument! So Me being the 'Judge' declared that both party will be cooking!LOL!

Mom cooked MEE REBUS VS DAD cooked SPAGHETTI!

So I guess the result was clear cut! Mom, your Mee Rebus is SHOIK...but DAD, your Spaghetti SUPER SUPER SHOIK! LOL!

Hello World!

Today is the first day of Fasting Month! It's 2153hr ,and I just had my meal.Well, I manage to survive 14hrs without food or drink.It wasn't much of a chore, maybe because I was practically occupied.But,the last few minutes was indeed torturous, seeing all the food being served on the table ,and in my mind all I wanted was for the clock to reach past 7.09 or past Magrib (that's When you can finally EAT!)
In the afternoon, I nearly lost my conscious, suddenly I'd the urge to drink. I guess it'll take sometime for Me to adapt to this.Surprisingly, mom is becoming calmer and less naggy at Me.SHE DIDN'T NAG AT ME EVEN ONCE today!

I found a new hobby...watching random videos on Youtube! And it's all because of Vina (: Hahah. Boo You!
